GMC Utilities Group, an Irish civil engineering firm with a turnover of more than €210m, is finalising an investment deal with private equity group Towerbrook Capital Partners, the Irish Independent has learned.
A deal could value the Irish group in excess of €140m. It is thought that Towerbrook won’t be taking a majority stake in the business, however.
