I have no interest in the patronising view that society sometimes has for disability. With the best will in the world, this can be more disabling than enabling.
We are very clear in the Now Group – and I have been involved for 25 years and have built up my confidence enough to be clear – that we want to platform people with disability as being amazing, as being part of the solution, not the problem.
