A friend I’ve had for years recently received a huge inheritance and has started spending wildly. At first, I was really happy for her. She deserves the comfort and safety net and it’s always fun when someone decides to splurge or treat themselves. She is also generally generous, and gives very flashy gifts since the money landed.
