There are renewed fears that the Irish aviation sector could face restrictions in the US, after Donald Trump’s transportation secretary issued a stark warning about “unjustified operational restrictions” on US airlines at European airports.

Dublin Airport, along with Schiphol in the Netherlands, are the two key transatlantic hubs at which there are high-profile passenger caps and restrictions.
