Sora 2 is OpenAI’s new video-generation tool and the follow-up to, you guessed it, Sora 1. Users enter a text prompt, like “show me a pelican cycling a bike on a sunny day” and Sora 2 generates a short video from that description.
It’s a technical marvel and a huge improvement on previous video-generation models. It’s also another example of big tech launching products with no consideration for taste, copyright or guardrails.
