I am not one to give out about the Irish educational system. Having attended Irish-language schools from junior infants to Leaving Certificate, I finished school in 2015 feeling like an academically well-rounded young adult.
I was fluent in various languages, had a good handle on geographical concepts and musical specifics, and while my grasp on some mathematical intricacies could have been better, that was a personal skills issue rather than a teaching one.
