Bank of Ireland hikes bill to compensate UK car loan customers to €400m

Bank of Ireland shares rose on Monday even after it hiked the estimate for the cost of compensating UK customers who were missold car loans to £350m (€403m).

The bank had already set aside £143m (€165m) last year to pay compensation to affected customers.
