Britain’s National Grid is to use the remote drone control technology of Sees.ai, a start-up co-founded and led by Dublin engineer John McKenna.
The company’s drones will be used to inspect pylons and cables, largely replacing the role of inspection crews in helicopters, which should enable the Boeing-backed business to continue to scale up.
